Workshop objectives are to provide information to educators on emerging trends in popular youth culture and to assist them in maintaining their enthusiasm for education; their important involvement in their students' lives; their positive impact on students; and to increase their resources to serve as mentors and motivators for their students.

Educators will:

• BETTER UNDERSTAND their influence and impact in the lives of their students.
• Be challenged to gain a deeper understanding of today's POPULAR YOUTH CULTURE!
• BE MOTIVATED and inspired to maintain an attitude of excellence for their students both in and out of the classroom.
• Re-commit to their initial vision as an educator.
